In Suma Lighting collection we are inspired by nature to create lighting pieces that not only function well but also connect people and nature in the built environments. Coming from a diverse background in sculpture and interior design, I always had a sense that interior spaces are missing inspiring lighting design.
Every lighting piece at Suma is handmade. The process starts with sketching and making small-scale models. Once the ideal form is created, the hand-bending process starts. Each piece is unique as they are shaped by artisans. Additionally, other parts of the pendants such as the pendant holder are uniquely designed and 3DE printed for each model.
